Calling You

This is the Prenup AVP of Ron Ryan & Annson that we shot in Davao City.  The bride-to-be hails from there, while the future groom resides here in Cagayan de Oro.

Although shy, the couple were very game when we had guerilla shoots in their memorable places in the city, like where she said ”yes” during his courtship and the places they liked to hang out.

The prenup only took us a day to shoot, while in between the couple gave us a quick but memorable tour of this beautiful city.

Things I learned during our trip to Davao:

    1.  The trip going there (from Cagayan de Oro) is one of the most adventurous road trips you’ll ever have (zig-zag roads, breathtaking views, 11-inch visibility fogs) :)

    2.  It’s huge.  I mean, when you’ve reached the boundary of Davao City, you’re still 2 hours away from the CITY!

    3.  It’s one of the most disciplined city in the Philippines (smoking ban, firecracker ban, due process ban hehe).

The couple’s wedding is on August 4, 2007.

Here is their Prenup AVP.

You Complete Me

Ah yes!  The theme for my blogsite now contains my all-time favorite color combination.  Now I feel complete.

Hope you like this too.

Update: We are going to have our first Davao wedding (Ron Ryan & Annson) at Eden on August 4.  We are very excited for it’s gonna be a 6 hour road trip!  Been preparing for this monumental event this early in our careers hehehe.  I have watched DVDs of The Hitcher, Road Trip & Texas Chainsaw Massacre as added precautionary measures.  Hehehe.

Will be posting their prenup AVP soon.

KASALAN 2007 Wrap-up

This was our first time to join a bridal fair.  Which is why our booth (or area, as the Professional Organizers people would want us to call it), wasn’t really that wedding-y.  Yes we showed our little library of onsites & avps, but the overall booth just wasn’t at par with the others.  Man, they really prepared for this event.

On the first day of Kasalan, I wasn’t satisfied with the foot traffic and inquiries (hardly any), so we had to “upgrade” our TV to really show what our videos are made of.  (For those who attended, you know what the upgrade was) :)

Well overall, it was a great experience.  I’ve met many suppliers of all variants (the friendly ones, the plastic ones, and the ‘feeling’ ones) and many potential clients.

I’m already looking forward to KASALAN 2009! :)

KASALAN 2007

July 12-15, 2007 at Limketkai Mall, Cagayan de Oro City

We would like to invite you to visit our booth and get special discounts for couples-to-be.

It will be just the third time the KASALAN road show will happen in Cagayan de Oro, and this promises to be the best one yet.

So, see you there!
