Julie + Ernesto: SDE in HD
Oct 26th
Relieved, Grateful, Excited.
It was the order of feelings I had after their wedding.
Relieved because it was a week full of anxiety and trials. Had to use a cam I just bought 3 days before the wedding. Had to crash-learn shooting in it, edit the footage, all this while editing their equally challenging prenup avp in a software I just started using. Not to mention the hassles of figuring out commands in a totally different operating system. (sorry for getting a little technical on the terms)
Anyway, grateful also because I’ve been blessed with the support of many people that made the challenging day (2 weddings, 2 SDEs) a success. Not only that but I think the guy above made some moves and it seemed everything fell into place when I needed it the most.
Excited, because this was a memorable wedding. I know I say it all the time but this time, it’s gotta have a little more weight as this was a wedding which included an underwater prenup scene, Sitti as the wedding singer, Rajo Laurel as the designer, and of course as you’ll see in the video after reading this, something different and something to be excited about.
By the way, the song used is by fellow Kagay-anons, Kristine and Fayeed Tan with their cover of one of my favorite songs, “Use Somebody”.

We had a wonderful time shooting their prenup in Zamboanga City. Shooting their wedding was a blast too!
Love, during our meeting 3 days before the big day said her father has one request. He wants to see the ring shots rolling/moving.
He saw we did it in a video awhile back and he wants to see them in his daughter’s SDE.
Request granted.

The best thing about shooting prenup videos? Out-of-town location shoots. It’s like you’re going on vacation with the couple and other fellow suppliers.
Julie wanted an underwater shoot. Said she’ll book us if we can do it. Told her yes we can, even though we’ve never done it before. Consulted fellow videographers, including Boss Bob Nicolas. Who was so kind and lent me his underwater case. Unfortunately, it only fits a certain model of cams and ours won’t. Good thing, their photographer, Joel Lazarito, bought a waterproof pouch for DSLRs. Our D90 fit in perfectly.
Enough of the details. Simply watch their prenup avp in HD and see our “vacation” in Camiguin Island.
