Chiery is one of those girls that others want to be: she’s pretty, a beauty pageant finalist, and a very good singer. Her parents, especially her Mom is really proud of her. That’s why they wanted to make her debut extra special.

You plan your wedding up to the last detail. Everything is set, but then, when the day comes, one thing you really have no control over is… the weather, right?Â
Apparently positive thinking and a lot of prayers can help.  Though a little rain from time to time threatened to halt the ceremony, which thank God, didn’t happen.
And oh, their son, not the pastor, said: “Daddy, you may now kiss Mommy.” How cute.Â

Ruzzie’s 18th Birthday

Ruzzie’s a combination of fashion and brains. And her fused pre-debut/onsite video says it all.Â
We flew all the way to her dorm in Ateneo de Manila, where she’s studying as a scholar.  Shot like hell there for 2 hours as that’s the only time we’ll have because Ruzzie’s leaving for Cagayan de Oro early morning the next day. Also, I was quite surprised that ADMU isn’t as strict on shooting as our own Ateneo here in Xavier University.Â

Jo Ann’s dream wedding came true. She told me, ever since, she wanted to get married on a platform on top of a swimming pool. The hotel where the ceremony was to be held, didn’t have the platform, so she had one made up.
The 8am wedding ceremony went smoothly and carried through the reception. Though early weddings meant we needed to step up a notch in editing the onsite video. Good thing we were able to finish it just in time.
To Jo Ann and Bryan, many thanks. We had fun shooting the prenup and also making the onsite video. Cheers!

Jo Ann+Bryan Prenup AVP

A close friend of the couple told me that Jo Ann and Bryan broke up and got back together almost 50 times during their 8 years together. Couples with “lesser” love could have just gave up on the relationship, but not them.Â
And their song choice for the prenup video, says it all. Their wedding is on October 10th 2008.
P.S. This is our, or probably the first time ever that an LQ (lovers’ quarrel) scene was included in a prenup AVP.Â

Lovelle+Kim Onsite Video

It was a perfect day when the bridal preparations started. Not too sunny, just enough for us to get natural light inside the bridal suite at Marco Hotel.
Fast forward to the point where the bride’s about to march down the aisle and one of the strongest downpour we’ve experienced hit Cagayan de Oro.Â
Talk about raining on her parade, in a somewhat positive way as that added drama to her entrance.
Good thing the rain stopped well before the ceremony finished and the rest of the day went ‘dry’ (again, in a positive way ).

8 years into their relationship, Lovelle and Kim are still as in love as ever. When I asked them what’s the thing that symbolizes their love for each other, Lovelle showed me their ‘scrapbook’. There together with some memorable photos, they put all their letters and notes to each other.
I chanced upon reading some of them and it made me wonder if new and younger couples nowadays still do that, since ‘texting’ or SMS makes it easy to express thoughts and feelings instead of writing.Â
Well, this scrapbook made a few cameos in their prenup AVP. Their wedding is on September 20, 2008.Â
