Butuan City’s Elizabeth & Melchor
Jun 30th
First, for the ones from NCR, Luzon, Visayas and others, it’s pronounced as “Bu-tuan” and not any other. The other possible pronunciation might be mistaken for something else’s member, so be careful.

That said, the wedding of Elizabeth & Melchor might be one of the most relaxed we’ve done as everything was, as Zohan says, “silky smooth”. Thanks to Darling of Blissful Moments, from the makeup, pictorial, church and reception party. Everything was on-schedule. And oh, the bridge pictorial (below) holds its own too.

As for Elizabeth, she’s a bride we won’t forget. As she was the first one we’ve shot that really really took her time walking down the aisle. And that’s good, because it’s her day.
Watch their onsite video. Aim high Butuan!  ;)

Hera’s 18th
Jun 21st

We did start our day right, well almost, as the weather made it slightly difficult during her birthday.
But hey, when you’re young, doing good in school, and is getting your dream debut celebration, you simply can’t complain.Â

And oh, this is our 3rd debut coverage in less than 3 weeks. Is it debut season?Â

Yvy Emano Debut
Jun 17th
Â
Yvy’s been texting me regarding her debut vid since last week. She said na she’s very excited na and to tell her right away if it’s done. I think she didn’t read the contract that our submission date will be months pa.Â
Good thing I made her this AVP.Â
I wasn’t expecting it to be a big celebration as when Yvy first came to us, she was the only one preparing for her debut. Little did I know it would be one of the grandest celebration we’ll be covering.Â
From the flowers, event setup and guests, the event screams BIG. It doesn’t hurt also that she’s the granddaughter of a very popular and well-loved Cagayan de Oro politician.Â

Lovely’s Debut
Jun 10th

How cool (or uncool) is it to be named Lovely? People will expect you live up to your name’s meaning and too many songs contain that word. Which is cool, because then you can have them played by the band on your birthday (that happened during her’s, and I could have suggested more songs like “She’s So Lovely” if I was informed ahead :) )
Being a daughter of a Colonel and a Mayor didn’t make her a diva, instead it was the opposite. She’s down to earth, sweet and funloving. Lovely… indeed.

Alan & Monaliza: Onsite Video
May 26th
Â

What happens when you mix a Filipino wedding with an American one? Probably one of the best wedding you’ll ever be part of. As what happened on the day of the Tholkes-Saco wedding.
First, let me share to you their onsite video…Â
Alan & Monaliza from Allan Alejandrino on Vimeo.
Now, what you didn’t see on that video:
- The hotel-to-ceremony-to-reception travel (again) was unique. The dancing was up a notch. Reception was pumped and not a single guest left early. Now that’s a wedding trifecta if you ever want one.Â
- During the ceremony, lightning struck something in the church (I think), causing the lights to malfunction. Good thing we brought our own lighting equipment.Â
- The GOOD: The groom’s male relatives are NBA fans! The BAD: They’re SPURS fans. haaayyy…
- And oh, If you think because the groom can’t walk doesn’t mean he can’t dance.Â
Fun all the way… and we did the hokey-pokey… wow, that’s what it’s all about.Â

Scatty & Cherry
May 25th

A song requested by the couple, popularized by a hit Korean telenovela… is not very popular amongst us videographers. Why? I’m not sure, but I guess we are ashamed to show how broad our music range is.Â

This is our 2nd Baptist wedding. Cherry, the bride, and Pastor Scatty warned us how their ceremony and reception program ends quickly, but we didn’t expect it would be that quick. I mean, a 3pm wedding and 5pm reception ending before 6pm? hehe does it get any quicker than that?
Anyway, it’s not in the length of the program, but the way the whole event went. Which went smoothly, everybody were smiling, and the couple had a wedding they would truly cherish all the days of their lives.Â
Now watch how it went. We used some film-damaged effects on this one to suit the mood of the song.

Alan & Monaliza: Prenup
May 23rd

Probably one of our most “powerful” couple.Â
This proves that one’s disability doesn’t make one a lesser man. You can almost feel their love for each other by just watching them. And this screenshot probably said it all.
Watch their super-duper sweet prenup vid with a special participation of their little angel.
Wedding’s tomorrow, May 24th.

The 6-hour drive that we had to take going to Davao didn’t hinder us in making their onsite video special. Even if I myself have driven to Iligan (twice), Bukidnon (twice), Ozamiz and Camiguin in the past 2 weeks. Tiring but fullfilling nonetheless.Â
The prenup was also shot in Davao, again in multiple locations. The only thing we forgot was to use the ”frizbee” scene I suggested.
The wedding reception is a memorable one as none of the guests left even after the emcee said his closing remarks. The first dance of the couple was also non-traditional as they did it in style… because when they hit the floor, next thing you know… hehe
Please do enjoy their prenup avp…

Edwin & Yanie On a Busy Day for Weddings
Apr 21st

-
April 19 was one busy day for weddings in Cagayan de Oro. On the couple’s preparation & reception venue at Xavier Estates,  there were 3 weddings booked.  It was a little hard distinguishing which guests is for which wedding and there was even an instance where I was taking a video of the wrong ones early in the day.Â
-

-
It was a hot summer day but the bride kept her cool all throughout the event. It helped that her sister was always on top of things too.
-

-
The shy groom got a little teary-eyed during Yanie’s march. He was also nervous and you’ll clearly see it during their vows when he mispronounces some words.Â
-
One amusing thing happened during the post-ceremony pictorial in front of the reception venue where a fellow videographer and ”their” couple were waiting on the side for us to finish our shoot.Â

Angelo & Siobe: A Speed-Nup AVP!
Apr 20th
Â
-Â
Angelo, my brother, surprised us with the announcement that he wants to marry his longtime girlfriend Siobe. The result, a rushed civil wedding preparation and a pressure prenup shoot on our part.
-

-
We’re really glad we came up with something out of the footages we took 2 days before the wedding. I thought of the concept “on the spot” and Siobe came up with a unique “avocado” shoot. There probably never will be another one like that.

Here’s their prenup vid.
