Wettwett & Ryan SDE
Nov 12th
The one thing that we can freely share with others is our love. Our love for our family, friends and most especially, for our partner. We can share it close, we can share it at a long distance.
Wettwett & Ryan were fortunate enough to have shared it together, both here and abroad. And now they are sharing it with us, from their out of the country trips, to finally their big day.
Here’s their SDE, with some awesome footages (courtesy of the couple’s excellent camerawork) from their tour of Europe.
Lalaine & Anthony SDE
Jun 30th
A helicopter accident forced Ssgt. Athony Harris to retire early from the U.S. Air Force. He undergone depression, making outrageous trips to the mountains and remote islands, sometimes staying for days without bringing food, just to cope up with his frustrations of not being in active duty.
Then he met Lalaine, who brought meaning to his life again.
He may not be able to serve and defend his country anymore, but he will be serving and defending someone that clearly matters most.
Here’s Lalaine & Anthony’s Same-Day Edit.
Charlene & Rennel
Jun 20th
Fast Facts: The prenup vid’s “inspiration” came from this year’s blockbuster, Fast Five. The black Mustang they were driving is the special edition version of that model. The “Eleanor”, as seen on another car movie, Gone in 60 Seconds.
Wedding Day Fast Fact (or Fiction): Charlene believes that every time she travels, rain follows her. The first time she told me that, I didn’t made much about it. Well, on the day we shot the prenup in Cebu, it rained and we had to keep on stopping the shoot. On her wedding day, during the ceremony, it rained hard as well. Hmmm.
And Rennel said his take on this during their vows, “I will be there when we both weather the storms of life, as much as possible without the strife.”
Makee & Ejie
Jun 20th
Makee wanted her unsuccessful attempts to get a U.S. Visa an important part of their love story video. “I want it to be funny.” She would always say when we’re discussing on the concept of the video. And judging by the guests’ reaction when it was shown, it kinda was.
Though not in the SDE, Makee did one of the funniest move we’ve seen a bride do during her walk down the aisle. As she was entering the church and the guests clapped and cheered her on, she smiled and put her hands up and “raised the roof”. Classic!
Here is Makee and Ejie’s Love Story, followed by their SDE.
Mai & Zoi SDE: Butuan
Jun 5th
We’re getting a lot of morning weddings. Is this a new trend? Or is it really advantageous to have the ceremony early in the day?
Whatever it is, one thing is for sure. The time won’t matter, as long as you’re as eager to marry each other.
Melissa & Ritchmond SDE: Dipolog
Apr 3rd
An 8-hour road trip is not easy. It’s no fun (and dangerous) also if you’ll be greeted by heavy rain while at it. But us being on the road most of the time, it was just another working day for us.
And so I thought.
First, we were surprised by how awe-inspiring the church is.
Second, because of the heavy rain the day before the wedding, we were expecting a gloomy weather. But it turned out to be the perfect day to get married.
Lastly, we got a lot of inspiration from all of what happened during our stay in Dipolog. From the reserved, but madly in love couple. To their very game and accommodating relatives, guests, and co-suppliers. It was definitely, not an ordinary day for us too.
Grace and Lester SDE
Jan 31st
I think I will never get enough of wedding day preparations done at home. You get to meet the entire family and a lot of relatives. Everyone’s greeting and hugging each other. Also, the food is served hot, and often.
You can’t help but be inspired by Grace and Lester’s affection for each other. If there is a greatest day they can choose they had, I definitely think this is it.
Here’s their Wedding Same-Day Edit.
Kitchie and Dimbo SDE
Jan 31st
When you feel that something is right when you’re with someone. And there are less and less lonely nights and secrets to hide. The decision to marry this ‘someone’ is a no-brainer. Your love with this person is ‘keeping you alive’.
Yumi and Ping SDE: Iligan
Jan 19th
Do you believe in destiny? Yumi and Ping are long time friends since college, but distance and meeting (and eventually breaking with) other people kept them separated.
One day changed it all when they finally met again in their hometown, after almost 10 years. On that very day, Ping courted Yumi. And when she said yes, the day after that, Ping proposed and gave her a ring.
To quote Yumi during our exchange of e-mails, “… I was a girlfriend for a day, a fiance for a year, and hopefully… partner for a lifetime!”
D-E-S-T-I-N-Y. Hands down.
Farrah and Ronnie SDE: Samal Island
Dec 13th
It’s our 2nd time to shoot in Samal Island, and the 1st in beautiful Bali-Bali.
Had fun shooting their wedding there, and would have loved to stay for the night. But we had to leave for CDO right after because of another wedding the next day. Will definitely be staying the next time I’m there.
“When you’re falling in love, just don’t let go.”
Though I was a witness of some of their little quarrels while in Singapore, at the end of the day, those petty misunderstandings don’t stand a chance if two people hold on to each other. And that’s what happened to Farrah and Ronnie. Marrying on one great day in Samal Island.
