Princess & Marjan
Nov 5th
Probably the most fun Muslim wedding we’ve done so far. As most muslim weddings, being “arranged” tend to be on the uptight side. This one certainly wasn’t. The parents of the bride were jolly and the bride herself, glowing and all smiles. Even her brothers, got into some awesome dance moves.
Though the couple only met for a few seconds weeks before the wedding, with all the anxiety and uncertainties, they managed to have a wonderful wedding.
Really, though they are starting from a blank canvass, I’m pretty sure they will fill it with excellent and fun memories in the future.

“We love, because it’s the only true adventure.” – Nikki Giovanni
For Emma and Christopher, whose adventure with each other started way back in high school, the love that they have made everything that happened to their lives, good and bad, more exciting and meaningful.
Here are their prenup AVP and wedding same-day edit. Cheers!

We’re getting a lot of morning weddings. Is this a new trend? Or is it really advantageous to have the ceremony early in the day?
Whatever it is, one thing is for sure. The time won’t matter, as long as you’re as eager to marry each other.

Muslim weddings tend to be 3 things: 1) grand, 2) colorful and 3) early.
Being sweet to each other before being married together is uncommon, even frowned upon in their tradition. Good thing the sweet parts of this video was shot post-nuptial.
Watch the last scene of the video. Definitely on my all-time list of favorite shots.
Gwendolyn and Nelson: Their 25th
Jan 23rd
It’s a challenge making an SDE for a 25th wedding anniversary. It’s a greater one when it has to be shown before their grand entrance in the ceremony/renewal of vows.
But honestly, it’s easy when you have this really cute couple and their cool family.
Couples might want many things, but in the end, like Gwendolyn and Nelson, all they wanted (and needed) was each other.
Here’s their SDE, something that I know would inspire couples and soon-to-be’s.
Yumi and Ping SDE: Iligan
Jan 19th
Do you believe in destiny? Yumi and Ping are long time friends since college, but distance and meeting (and eventually breaking with) other people kept them separated.
One day changed it all when they finally met again in their hometown, after almost 10 years. On that very day, Ping courted Yumi. And when she said yes, the day after that, Ping proposed and gave her a ring.
To quote Yumi during our exchange of e-mails, “… I was a girlfriend for a day, a fiance for a year, and hopefully… partner for a lifetime!”
D-E-S-T-I-N-Y. Hands down.
December 18
Dec 22nd
The date everyone wanted to get married on this year. Almost every supplier had double bookings, mostly one in the morning, and the other in the afternoon. We had extra pressure as ours was 1 in the morning, and 2 in the afternoon. 3 weddings, 3 SDEs, of which 2 are in HD.
And I had to be the one to edit the 2 SDEs in HD.
O-M-G.
The things that happened during this day, I cannot share in detail, but one thing I’m sure right now. Nothing is impossible with the One above.
Here’s the morning wedding of ROWENA and RALPH.
And in the afternoon, JASMIN and FRANK’s wedding.

“Dreams do come true…”
That’s the line written on their giveaways for the guests. When we were younger, we all once dreamt of how we want our future to be. Part of it is having the lifetime partner of your dreams. And Pamela and Chester found it in each other.
The song I chose for the SDE, coincidentally, is entitled “Teenage Dream”. A cover of Katy Perry’s by Tyler Ward. Cheers!
Jane and Cedric SDE: Davao
Nov 17th
We’re back in Davao. This is the first stop of 4 remaining stops for us this year in this wonderful city.
Having just met the couple on the day of the wedding, I thought we had a little catching up to do. But it didn’t take long as we were comfortable with them almost immediately.
Here’s what transpired on that day. Cheers!
Rhea and Jeff SDE
Oct 25th
The song Rhea wanted us to use for the SDE was very popular in wedding videos before. Though we often sway couples into not choosing the ones overused in SDEs, how can we persuade them when their ringing tones and the bride’s entrance music is the same song?
”And from the ballroom floor we are in celebration. One good stretch before our hibernation.” 2 lines from the song “Stolen” that I found so applicable to the couple during the reception. As I was somehow a witness as to how stressful and exciting their wedding preparations were. And now that they are finally married, and leaving for their island honeymoon, nobody deserves it better than Rhea and Jeff.
Here’s Rhea and Jeff’s wedding SDE. Where we surprised them both with their exchange of gifts.
